The BGA 160 is a battery-powered blower in the STIHL® AP System, designed for professional landscapers. It features excellent manoeuvrability combined with high blowing performance. With a maximum blowing force of 21 Newtons, the power of the BGA 160 sits above the BGA 86 and just below the BGA 250 handheld leaf blowers—outperforming both the petrol-powered BG 56 and BG 86 models.

Compact and lightweight, the BGA 160 is ideal for working quickly and around tight obstacles when clearing small areas of leaves and hedge clippings, making it a great addition to any professional landscaper’s toolkit. Designed for both left- and right-handed users, the angled handle reduces strain on the wrist and arm, while offering excellent stability—even at maximum power. The battery is positioned beneath the impeller and handle, giving the tool outstanding balance and eliminating the need to tilt it for proper use.

The BGA 160 features a variable-speed trigger with a built-in boost mode, allowing for a temporary increase to maximum power when tackling stubborn, wet debris. Operators can choose from three power settings to tailor performance to the task, optimizing battery efficiency. For extended use, cruise control functionality allows for steady operation, and a shoulder harness can be attached to reduce strain on the operator’s arm and hand.

As a battery-powered tool, the BGA 160 also runs more quietly than petrol alternatives—so there’s no need to wear ear protection during use.
