MSA 220 T Cordless Chainsaw: Top-handle cordless chainsaw with high-cutting performance for professional use

The MSA 220 T is STHL’s most powerful cordless top-handle saw to date. This professional arborist saw is ideal for removing pieces of trunk, crown correction, or removing dead wood.

It has an electronic trigger system with an unlock button for simple saw activation, which leads to easy operation and the LED display on the top handle also shows information on the operating status of the chainsaw, as well as the chain break position.

With an easy-to-clean air filter for long service life and optimum engine cooling, excellent cutting performance, side-mounted chain tensioning, tool-free oil tank cap, captive nut on the sprocket cover.

Must be used with AP 300 S or AP 500 S battery for full performance.

• Fold-Out Hook: The fold-out hook is designed for use as a carrying rope attachment, making it easy to lower the arborist saw and ensuring secure handling. When not in use, it can be pushed in to avoid interfering with work or storage.
• Fleece Filter: The fleece filter in the MSA 300 ensures reliable performance even in extreme conditions. Its fine-pored material effectively blocks dust and dirt from reaching the power electronics and motor. For cleaning, remove the filter, apply STIHL Varioclean, let it work briefly, rinse with warm water, and let it dry before reusing.
• Intuitive Controls and Bright LED Display: The MSA 300 features user-friendly controls and a bright LED display. It offers three speed settings (20, 24, or 30 m/s) to optimize battery life for various tasks like snedding or brashing. The display also indicates the status of the chain brake and provides temperature warnings in red.
• Side-Mounted Chain Tensioning: This design allows for simple, secure, and quick chain tensioning and replacement. The tensioning screw is accessed laterally through the sprocket cover, making adjustments easy and safe.
• Sprocket Nut Retention: When changing the cutting attachment, the design prevents the loss of sprocket nuts, ensuring that all components remain securely in place.
